To Our Theater

We're a new theatre group exploring the concept of micro theatre - presenting plays in small, intimate spaces. We have two locations for performances - Broadway at the Tarry Shop and Micro Theatre at the Broadway Tavern. Our audience size will be extremely limited but there will be no limit to the creativity of the theatre we will all experience together! This includes the virtual reader's theatre productions we created during the pandemic. They are available on YouTube.

The Micro Theatre on Broadway is producing our first musical! We are holding auditions for You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, which will be performed March 21-24, 2024. We will be presenting the original version of the musical, which debuted off-Broadway in 1967. With charm, wit, and heart, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. Characters include Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Snoopy, and Patty (an early character for the show, not to be confused with Peppermint Patty). The role of Linus has already been cast.

This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, is guaranteed to please audiences of all ages! Musical numbers include "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness."

Auditions will be held for two nights, December 17 & 18, from 7:00-9:00pm at Tarry Shop, 65 Broadway Street, Milton. Auditioners do not need to attend both sessions, but should prepare a short section of a musical theatre song (e.g., one verse and chorus) to sing with an accompaniment track. You may or may not also be asked to read selections from the script. Auditioners should also be sure to bring a calendar to indicate scheduling availability through March 24, 2024. Rehearsals will begin the week of January 22, 2024. There will be two performances on Saturday, March 23.
